The next season of Destiny 2, Season of the Wish, officially has a start date as we head into the final period of post-Lightfall content. After seasons of defiance, deep-sea diving, and spooky Hive witchcraft, Season of the Wish focuses on a more obscure part of Destiny lore.
This new season arrives during a turbulent time for Destiny 2, as the studio laid off a large number of its employees in October. Reports claim that as much as 8% of Bungie’s workforce, or 100 people, were let go, and the community response has been highly critical of the developer’s leadership during this time.
